(I'd guess, from info so far, that this is the most likely culprit). ![]() Vibration induced by certain RPM's can cause the reverse switch spring connection to break contact briefly, turning the limiter on intermittently - try grounding the wire and see if the problem goes away. I have noticed that when getting on it, once in a while it will sputter at high RPM and not go any higher in the rev range. I bought the bike with it on, and it doesn't have a power commander. It is stock except for a two brothers exhaust. Inside the fuel system, there may be a block fuel injector which causes the vehicle to sputter. If there is incomplete combustion inside the engine that will cause a sputter as can the ignition system. ![]() When an engine is sputtering, then it is trying to convey to you that there is a deeper problem that requires immediate action.
